Lil' Miss Jazz

Thursday 9 November

After launching into the Australian Gospel music scene, Cindy van der Ree (aka Lil' Miss Jazz) began to seek new opportunities to play in different places and blending the influence of jazz into her own songs. In 2007, Cindy played at The Botanic Gardens Jazz Twilights program with a bunch of talented musicians. Something happened in that moment, with those songs and that double bass – and she was hooked. She then found herself playing with different musicians all the time. Cindy even had a chance to sing with Melbourne’s jazz piano master, Bob Sedergreen!
